Contrada wine – Identity of a vineyard


Selection of 90% Nero d’Avola and 10% of Nerello mascalese grapes of Passofonduto vineyard district grown with the technique called “Alberello” on the clayey -calcareous soil with an important presence of chalk. Grapes are destemmed, little pressed and fermented in small wine vessels with maceration on the skins for about six days.
